I'm still here :)

Just a quick little blog post to say....

I'm still here...
Still alive :)

Ian's actually home right now (and cooking dinner downstairs....feels like the good ole' days). He's home for just a few more days, so we're trying to soak up every second before he leaves again.

October flew by...wow!

I'm still doing Project Life....just not in the form of putting it together. The photos are there. So I'm patiently putting it all together....better late than never, right?

We are halfway through the "birthday season" in our family. Ian, my dad and Makayla (along with many other extended family members had their birthdays during the month of October). Malia's, mine and many other family members are this month!!

Speaking of Malia.....I can.not.believe she's going to be 15 this month!!
Beyond crazy to think that!
Life is really flying by. Like really.

But seriously....
she's the most amazing girl ever.
I'm not just saying that.
She's sweet (has a sassy side), but for the most part....and for most girls her age she is WONDERFUL!!
Loving. Sweet. Helpful. Caring. Funny. WANTS TO BE WITH HER FAMILY....hello!!
OMG is she funny......
she's constantly laughing at her cat and all the funny things her cat does.....just watching her roll on the floor laughing hard throws my mom and I into complete laughter.
Oh...the things teens think are funny :)
And this girl.....
she's got her head on her shoulders!
She's determined to have a really amazing job once she's done with college.....
we're talking possibly becoming a DOCTOR :)
I could go on and on about her....
she really does amaze us each and every day.
Such a ray of sunshine in our lives......
but Ian's calling me to dinner, so I must go!

And this is the only way to get her to smile for me....
to let her pose with her kitty.....
Kitty Perry or
Kitty Boo Boo....
whatever you call the cat, she won't come, so don't try. She's got Malia wrapped around her little paw!!
